OUR HISTORY
Christian Life Church, originally named First Apostolic Church of Lockport, was founded circa 1960 and incorporates members as far reaching as Plainfield to Chicago. CLC ministers to the spiritual and emotional needs of the community through weekly worship services, individual counseling sessions, outreach, leadership training, a variety of ministries and acts of community service. In March of 2012 the church was renamed Christian Life Church.
There has been steady and substantial growth since Pastor Perry G. Walker was called to pastor CLC in 2005, multiplying the church fifteen-fold in that time period. His passion is to reach people on a very personal level within the community, building real relationships that facilitate a hunger for God. He envisions CLC not only as a church, but as a hospital – a place of healing, facilitated by loving relationships with God and each other.
We are committed to building families and healing lives!
